A Complete Diagnostic Service, Not Just a Device
When you start your at-home sleep test with DEEPdormir, you're getting a comprehensive diagnostic service designed to lead to effective, long-term treatment. Here's everything included in the process:
- 1-on-1 Virtual Consultation: A private video visit with a board-certified sleep specialist to discuss your symptoms and approve your test.
- At-Home Sleep Test Kit: The simple, disposable, FDA-cleared WatchPAT™ ONE testing device delivered directly to your door.
- Personalized Sleep Report: A detailed, multi-page analysis of your sleep patterns, reviewed and interpreted by our medical team.
- Follow-Up Consultation: A post-test telehealth visit to review your results and discuss personalized treatment options.
- Insurance Concierge Service: Our team handles all insurance paperwork and verifies your benefits to ensure maximum coverage for your test and any subsequent treatment.
The 3 Simple Steps to a Diagnosis
- Book Your Virtual Visit: After taking our free sleep quiz, schedule a consultation with one of our sleep specialists. During this call, we'll confirm that an at-home test is right for you and handle all insurance pre-authorizations.
- Take The Test: We'll ship the easy-to-use test kit to your home. Wear the simple sensors for one night in the comfort of your own bed. The device automatically collects data and sends it to our doctors for review.
- Get Your Results & Treatment Plan: We'll schedule a follow-up call to review your personalized sleep report. If you are diagnosed with sleep apnea, we will begin the process of creating your custom oral appliance, which is also covered by most insurance plans.
Note: Most patients receive their results within 3-5 business days, compared to the weeks-long wait that's typical with traditional sleep labs.
Clinically-Proven Technology
The WatchPAT™ ONE is an FDA-cleared device developed by Itamar Medical that has been validated in multiple clinical studies and is used by sleep specialists worldwide. Unlike traditional home testing devices that require multiple wires and attachments, the WatchPAT uses innovative technology to gather comprehensive sleep data with minimal contact points.
Key Measurements:
- Peripheral Arterial Tone (PAT®): Measures changes in arterial volume related to breathing disruptions
- Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2): Monitors drops in oxygen levels during sleep
- Heart Rate: Tracks variations in heart rate during sleep events
- Sleep Stages: Identifies REM, light, and deep sleep patterns
- Body Position: Records sleeping position to identify position-dependent apnea
- Snoring & Chest Motion: Detects snoring intensity and breathing effort
These measurements allow our sleep specialists to calculate your Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI) and other critical metrics to provide an accurate diagnosis of sleep apnea and its severity.
